Maria (Larraín, 2024)

Written by Giorgia Cattaneo Angelina Jolie looks like a living painting in this third and final act of the severely acclaimed Pablo Larraín’s biopic series – started with Jackie (2016), followed up by Spencer (2021) – delighting the world with a never-seen-before side of the greatest female opera singer, Maria Callas. Set in a 1970 Paris, Maria follows the last, tumultuous years of the soprano’s public and private life.
